ADA & Title VI Compliance
Lake County, Indiana is committed to providing equal access to its programs, services, and information for all residents — including people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency.
Web Accessibility Policy
- Our goal is for lakecountyin.gov to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
- New and updated content is created to meet these standards, and we review older “legacy” pages and documents on an ongoing basis.
- An on-site accessibility tool is available on every page to help visitors adjust display and navigation to their needs.
Requesting Accessible Content
- If you need a document or web page in an accessible format, contact the ADA & Title VI Coordinator and we will provide an accessible version as quickly as possible.
- If making specific content accessible would create a serious financial or administrative burden, we will provide the information in another format that offers equal access.
